When the New Caucus took over the Welfare Fund which finances our dental benefits, the fund had a $15.2 million surplus. They mismanaged the surplus into NEAR-

BANKRUPTCY

Then, in 2006, they negotiated to take our retroactive salary increases and reallocated that money to fill the huge hole that they created. But they listed the salary increase as though we received it and then proudly announced that they "NEGOTIATED" a contribution to the Welfare Fund to make it whole!!

The only problem: the negotiated concessions came from our pocketbooks!

Time for a change!
