Ronald Forman began his CUNY career more than 40 years ago at Brooklyn College . Following his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Mathematics degrees, he continued his studies at New York University 's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. While at NYU, he began his teaching career as a lecturer and adjunct professor at Brooklyn College before taking a faculty position at Kingsborough Community College in 1969. Ronald currently teaches mathematics and statistics at KCC and for the last six years has served on the Executive Committee of Kingsborough's chapter of the Professional Staff Congress (PSC). He has served as the chapter Grievance Officer. He also served as Mathematics Coordinator for the College Now program. Ronald has had an attachment to CUNY for his entire life, as his father, Dr. William Forman, was a mathematics professor at Brooklyn College for 60 years and two of his sons were students at the College of Staten Island and a third at Hunter College High School . For the last seven years, he has hosted a radio program on WKRB-FM that has traced the history of American popular music.
