Lloyd Carroll is a graduate of Columbia University (BA, Economics 1979) and the NYU Graduate School of Business Administration (MBA, Accounting 1981). He received his CPA license in 1983. He joined the accounting faculty at BMCC in 1985 and has served as Chair of the Accounting Department since 2000. He has written numerous articles that have appeared in such publications as The New York Daily News, Crain's New York Business, Accounting Today, The Queens Chronicle and The Nassau  Observer.
